There is a report that suggests Dr. Martha Ogman is still active in the casino scene at the age of 92, which is quite impressive. Her story is impressive and it presents a unique view of the world of high stake gambling. Even now her story has a significant impact on individuals and their families who are trying to quit their gambling addiction.
Watching the movie, you can realize how complex is the gambler’s behavior. You can see the ongoing and never ending cycle of the problem or compulsive gambler: Win → Excitement → More Gambling or Loss → Frustration → Chasing, and Guilt or Denial → Repeating the Cycle.
